Amplicon Sequencing
New Microbiome Insights clients commonly ask how they’ll receive their data. As part of our sequencing services we transfer the raw data file to you. In addition, if you take advantage of our bioinformatic analyses you’ll also get a customized report that makes it easy to see the information most relevant to your study question.
With our bioinformatic analyses we provide a customized report containing the tables and figures that help you view your data, while enabling you to export it for viewing in a different program. Depending on your needs and the metadata provided, our reports can show:
- Quality metrics of the sequencing run
- Bar plots and ordinations of the organisms detected in each sample
- Specific taxa using linear models to identify taxa of interest
- Diversity metrics
- Breakdown of groups: control versus treatment
Your data is stored on Microbiome Insights’ own secured servers (on-site in British Columbia, Canada) and securely transferred to you via our Nextcloud platform. Reports are delivered as html files.
